The international community has established an ambitious agenda to achieve 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. These goals address a wide range of interconnected issues, including economic progress, social well-being, and the provision of global public goods.
India, often ranking low on global development indices, plays a crucial role in achieving these universal objectives. Achieving these goals requires strong collaboration between the government, private sector entities, and development organizations.
In the fiscal year 2022-23, the Development Organization Of Rural | DOOR meticulously developed a strategic roadmap to significantly increase its impact. Currently, our efforts are focused on bringing about comprehensive transformations by empowering marginalized communities in the most remote areas of Maharashtra. By 2030, we aim to reach 750+ households and positively impact the lives of 1120+ individuals across the states where we operate.
Our initiatives are closely aligned with nine of the 17 SDGs, thereby making a significant contribution to the national agenda and aspirations. The following outlines our goals for each of the nine global goals:
